This is so wierd - I was browsing recent deviations and I saw something good!

Its great I wish I could get past how frustrating scratchboard is to make something nice.

Oh well thank you very much! I love scratchboard, although you're right, it can be very frustrating. Unfortunately people don't seem to pay much attention to these. But your lovely comment made my evening! :)

Personally I like painting on black - so I really like scratchboard (well looking at it).

That is why I like to still browse recent deviations... it was nice in the "old" days when you could get random pleasant comments from people.

Oh goodness thank you. :) Umm, I guess not counting the times when I was like "screw this stupid thing, I'm throwing it in the trash" probably about 6 hours or so.

its so detailed!
i really don't have the patience to work on things for long periods of time...
well, thats not true
sometimes i get "in the zone" and spend 3+ hours listening to music and making an artistic mess of oil pastels
